Is it Mark Raddcliffe-Maconie or Stuart Maconie-Radcliffe? Either way the happy couple celebrate 10 years together.
Mark and Maconie, 1pm 6music
Radcliffe and Maconie is ten! We'll be celebrating a decade of their partnership by running through the best bits of the show all the way from 17 April 2007 when they first joined forces on the now-defunct Radio Two.
Mark and Stuart are joined by Norwegian crime author Jo Nesbų. 2017 marks the twentieth anniversary of his Harry Hole series, as the first book 'The Bat' was published way back in 1997. Jo is now about to release the eleventh book in the series,' The Thirst'.
Radcliffe and Maconie are joined by folk group The Unthanks. Originally emerging from the group Rachel Unthank and the Winterset, The Unthanks were formed in 2009. They're now set to release a new album 'Diversions Vol. 4: How Wild The Wind Blows: The Unthanks Perform the Songs and Poems of Molly Drake'.
Mark and Stuart are joined by film producer Roy Boulter to chat about his new film 'A Quiet Passion'. It's a biographical film about American poet Emily Dickinson and stars Cynthia Nixon. Roy hasn't always been a film producer however; born in Liverpool he became the drummer for The Farm and played on their hits Groovy Train and All Together Now.
Poet Murray Lachlan Young is today's RadMac guest. He's toured with Julian Cope and The Pretenders and performed on the main stage at T in the Park and Glastonbury. He cites Grandmaster Flash, Ian Dury and Tom Waits as influences on his poetry alongside Lewis Carroll and Edward Lear.
