Does it matter?

I thought it did, because one presenter's views were being dismissed by the other.

Any difference in taste between the two is welcome. Though Mork obviously wears the trousers in this relationship.

Unless... Mork spaked with forked tongue giving out the official Double One line on whatsherface, but Stuart is there to almost subliminally tell us what they really think. A coded message to the keen of ear.

I've been out of the country; please explain.

There is much unconditional praise on 2FM for Siouxsie's plodding and laboured new single, with its bitter relationship-breakup lyrics. Stuart dared to be less than effusive in his measured response - "it's growing on me" - and was slapped down.

Does this mean she's no longer with Budgie?

The record isn't very good, is it?

Record is certainly not up to the beauteous one's previous offerings - in fact its almost like Siouxsie trying to sound as if she's not Siouxsie but wants you realise that she is. That's probably the most convoluted, meaningless statement I've ever typed but I know what I mean.
Hope she and Budgie haven't split - could put Ms S back on Mr Daisy's availability list  Roll Eyes

Mark dismisses Stuart's view on that one record and Stuart listens to what Mark says in most links and agrees with him, then forgets Mark has said it and says it himself using different words as if Mark didn't say it at all. They are now even, they both don't care what the other one says.

The perfect double act.

Alas, 'tis true.

Still, when "troubled 6Music" gets the axe to pay for keeping BBC3 and BBC4 on air, Marc can come and sort out Radio 2.

Having said that I still  find Stuart more annoying as he does that a few times in each show, along with his favourite word which is now meaningless to me,  the siouxsie record has now gone.

The reason Stuart is relaxed when he's on his own (I would say dull instead of relaxed) is that he's got the microphone to himself and everyones attention.

Dull! I take you didn't listen to yesterday's Robert Wyatt special on the Freak Zone. A marvelous interview and a wonderful overview of the career of a fantastic artist.

An interview that was easily the equal of anything Radcliffe has ever done.

Radcliffe's Kate Bush interview was competent, despite being starstruck and marooned on an island with the lovely Kate

Email address = twice a show is ok every link =dull
the same with the text number

Asking for listeners memories on everything they might mention so he doesn't have to think of things to say for himself = dull

one word for everything he likes "Fantastic" = dull,
even I can think of a few: lovely, very good, a really good record perfect for a long car journey, I like that a lot, I hope to hear more from them as they are really enjoyable to hear. He has the entire record to think of something to say and he comes out with the same thing, it must be catching as Mark is saying it too now.

Plugging listen again = dull, he did it about three times last night.

facts about the singers cat/dog/trousers/ = dull and I've read on other message boards they are sometimes wrong.

Mark does great interviews and he can go off on a tangent away from facts that he's memorised.

Introducing me to tons of artists that I would never have heard = fantastic.

More laughs on the Radio than most other presenters = fantastic.

Interesting facts about various artists = fantastic.

Not saying err in every link like a certain other northern presenter = fantastic.

Not picking up a fellow presenter on every slip of the tongue, however slight = fantastic.

Writing fantastic books = fantastic.

Writing fantastic reviews and articles in various publications = fantastic.

Having a very enjoyable TV show running at the moment = fantastic.
