A piece each from Stuart and Mark about meeting Kate Bush in this months Word Magazine.

Thankfully neither take credit for any aspect of her career!

Is there a piece by Mark Ellen about when he met Mark Radcliffe and was invited onto his R2 show, thereby making his career and selling more of Word Magazine?

I like Mark Ellen - in fact I used to fancy him about 20 years ago - but I was married to the slug so would probably have fancied anything in trousers that didn't leave a trail of slime..

Word Magazine is a bit like a print version of Mint. But with added Books, TV and Film.

A really good read for old gits like me!

Stuart has turned into a Darling of the Daily Mail, or maybe he already was. They're loving his "pointless book" on middle England.  I laughed when Clive Anderson called it pointless on Saturday's Loose Ends.

After Clive Anderson mentioned that he was in the Daily mail I had a look it seems like a load of waffle to me. He's been in there two days running now:

This guy is right about his last book

Two lovely pieces by Stuart. I've always loved that Thomas Poem and Stuart is right to say he would have become one of the greats.

The piece by the Student is of course wrong. My Mum lives in North Lincolnshire and the atmosphere is different when we vist, than here on the South Coast. Not better just different. Plus I doubt if he has actually read the book.
