Wise - wrong, wrong, wrong and then wrong some more.

Seen the goal on MOTD and the teeny weeny one definitely got it well over the line - but then you wouldn't expect honesty out of Cashley would you..

At least we got a lucky win at Foolem - very much in the Ferguson mode - so, come on Villa!

there's still hope, more hope than boro at least! and how great would it be if we sent scumderland down at the expense of our survival?!

we played great in the first half, but as soon as we were a goal down our confidence was shattered. we need to not conceed any goals, or just grow some knackers and fight on regardless.

lucky!? there's nothing left of the goal frame at craven cottage! you were unlucky not to have won by more, fulham never stood a chance to be honest. hopefully villa can help you out tommorow, but i think the international break has helped munchkin united.  Undecided

Curses, read this thread again by accident, can't you put "football" in the title to warn me off?

It's like the way "England" now automatically means football. "Season" used to mean spring, summer, autumn, winter, now it means the duration of the footballing year i.e. 51 weeks.

the title is all theirs now, but they really didn't deserve that. liverpool will probably end up 4th.

hopefully you can take out chelsea and win the european cup again instead.

PHEW!!!!!

I did feel sorry for Villa, for about 10 secs a least!! Cheesy

Still a long way to go though, the Gooners will have a big say in deciding who wins it.

I felt a small frisson of excitement when Porto went 1 up at The Theatre of Dreams/Nightmares. But, good old spud-face eh - my arse Angry

There's still more than a handful of games to go so anything could happen. What will happen, of course, is that they will be given as many minutes of Ferguson time as required to overturn an unsatisfactory result while everyone else won't.

Lou, do you need a licence for all this vacuous arsing you're doing at present? Or are you just stumped  Wink

Well, that was a walk in the (Stanley) park - not! Must be a fiendishly sneaky part of Rafa's plans for world domination - or his way of getting a fecking enormous cheque as compensation for being sacked from his job  Angry

we were poor, piss poor, so all credit to chelski and mr hiijiinks - he beat us the same way we beat utd - bah!

i think tonights match is the trigger for united to take everything sadly, not just this season but also the next few. they will easily overome porto and barca + chelsea if need be. that's also taken liverpools title challenge away too, they won't have any confidence left after this.

on top is the toon going down, i really have lost all faith in football right now. the glory hunters are out in force tonight, i guess they'll be spoiled for choice when chelsea play man u again.

but then, as for chelsea vs liverpool... if anyone can do the impossible, it's liverpool.

18 all! Phew! A bit of a stagger over the line but we've done it.

And thanks to Shearer for making the last day interesting!

If you had told me in 1974 (relegation year) we would even win it again I would still be laughing now!

And is it just me but is Benitez the most churlish man in Football, would a simple 'well done' to Utd hurt? Even Wenger said some nice things yesterday!
