Right up the Jocksy S street, except HB. And the trailers, Asha and the talking over the records.

The SVP was on Poetry Please today.  Also on was Rachel Pantechnicon.  Never heard of 'er before, but liked her stuff.

File on Four afterwards was good as well - the interviewer defeated a BNP bloke with logic.  Grin

my mum was on the train to London once and shared a quiet carriage with that main BNP bloke and one of his cronies - they found it neccessary to think that everyone in the carriage wanted to hear them until my mums friend said "What does that sign over there say?" and my mum responded in a marked manner, "It says it's the quiet carriage"...they shut up a bit - good work mum  Cool

I was in the Quiet Carriage last week, being quiet. After a while some twot answered his mobile, which had a loud knock as a ringtone. The whole carriage stared and tutted silently.

He was behind me. I was as worried by the loud knocking sound as everyone else on the fast-moving train.

Further plugging for Mark Lamarr's God's Jukebox.

I never thought I'd love all these types of music. The laughs with the session band are better than or equal to those found anywhere.

Worth it just for the pops at Steve Wright and the rest of the Radio Double lot.

Mark Lamaar - now, he's one hot tottie  Wink

Is there a significant other Lamaar - or can I still live in hope of him, me and Jo in a gypsy caravan along the tranquil lanes of the old country - wherever that may be?

OK - I've fallen off the wagon very early tonite - but its Friday so its ok isn't it  Huh

Absolutely.

appointment to listen radio for sure.
I tape it to get over the drudgery of daytime radio & some quality listening.
The banter with the bands is top notch & there is something for everybody in this show.

I'm still tempted to send in a request to Steve Sh*tes Sunday vomitfest asking for The Sensational Alex Harvey Band & Next! just to see what happens.

If he doesn't play it then I'll bombard him with abusive E-mails..........but then agian he probably gets plenty of them already.

Mark is also depping for the ego himself J Ross  for the next few weeks & so far it has been great on a Staurday morning.

Jupitus in for Merchant, Lamarr in for Woss, Garvey in for Riley, there's hope at the weekends!
