None, you tell Lesley, she's probably thought of it already. Just the minor issue of a roomfull of egos to displace from the 2-5 slot.

Thay really have arsed a damn fine presenter up these days.

Reduced to depping for Steve Sh*te & his miserable playlist & Z-list guests & presenting a evening show so hackneyed & messed about with.

I only listen now when there is someone vaguely interesting on the show [Winkleman is a no go area then].

For goodness sakes Double one put the man on some more great audio documentaries & a regular show that it is vital to listen to.

Out of the split of 2004 Marc Riley has got the better deal [MINT aside Cry] & Radders just seems to be drifting away from the leading light he once was.

They are really squandering a great asset to that station & cow towing to idiots like O' Dreary,Brand, & too afraid to shake the daytime dinosaurs up.

I really am disillusioned with the state of Radio 2.

Oh & one final thing.
I used to like Jonathon Ross up unti recently but he is just getting away withg the same old show week in week out. Now when the other asset to the station Mark Lamaar is given the show on a Saturday it is transformed to an entertaining event with plenty of thought put into it.

Radio 2 turning into a gravy train...............surely not.

I'd post this on the R2 message boards but I fear I'd be wasting my time.

Does "absence makes the heart grow fonder" apply to double acts?

I wasn't ever that illusioned with it to start with. It's not on in the background - I'd listen to a specific show, if it were any good. Then it's back to 6Music, or a CD, or blissful silence. Failing that, there's the TV, but you'd need to be desperate!

I must be desperate. I am still watching that load of horse poo known as 'Robin Hood'. How did it ever get commissioned? How did it ever get a second series?

Apparently it was filmed in Hungary as the trees are nice and young and green, not the old hoary things in Sherwood Forest. (Did I read that on here, or somewhere else?  Embarassed)
I'm sure the BBC have made that very clear at the top of each episode.

I've been to Nottingham twice. I've not seen any trees, or a Sheriff.

I totally agree about Lamarr, unmissable when he sits in for Ross.

The only thing I would add is that perhaps Radcliffe wants the daytime shift and the money that goes with it. If he does I certainly don't begrudge him if that is the reason but I do think he can do better.

Perhaps he ought to take a leaf out of Stuart's Book with a show on 6Music, with him choosing all the Music like Stuart's Freak Zone.

The crowning glory was when Marrion a.k.a Night watchman was doing a bit of fighty stuff with Guy & his henchmen & he said words to ythe effect of "Unmask this man".  Now It was pretty clear from the bumps in places that men don't have bumps that it was a night watchwoman & not one of them figured it out!.

I liked it & it's better than sitting through that moronic X-creament factory or celebrity mincing in a ballroom.
