Stuart made some intelligent comments tonight about The Police playing out of tune, which Mark virtually ignored - he's got his own agenda, that one.

Yes, strange moment there. The problem is that Mark comes over as a bit rude, which he isn't I think. Stuart has got to relax a bit but Radcliffe isn't helping him one bit.

Why should he? If it was a joint idea to present this mid-evening thingy then they should both be confident in their own abilities to make such a programme presentable.
Personally, well I won't bore you any more ...

More importantly, I have just returned from holiday to find that the cowbells have disappeared. Does any one know what happened to them?

Mark had had enough (evident last week). They're "resting" Stuff & Nonsense, and in its place we have "This Just In". Give it a month.

Aha. Coined a new feature. 'This Justin'. 4 facts and one non-fact about people called Justin. A different one every night and the listeners have to pick the bum steer. But don't enter 'cos you can't win owt.

They could have This Justin. Or This Justin. In the interests of equalidy, This Justin(e).

Better this week I think. The Tubular Bells stuff was good, Two Sevens Clash next week should be interesting. Kate Walsh I could take or leave but Noddy was on form in my opinion.

Mick Jagger? Could go either way!

Thursday's show was great- 'The Hanging Garments of Debenhams'  Cheesy

Mark seems to be a lot more comfotable in a duo role, he's quite happy to let Stuart do most of the links etc.....and still picking great records of the week- this week's Siouxie track is a blinder.

Hello Eight and welcome.

I'm afraid I have to disagree with Mark about Siouxsie. It makes me run for the off-switch. It's plodding and laboured, it goes on about "raining on parades" and only Madonna does that (what does it mean anyway?), and I heard Steve Wrong enthusing over it on Wednesday (he has also worked out that it's a Bond theme without a movie). It's a turkey, in my opinion, but fortunately, that counts for nowt!

Mark: "That new Siouxsie record is GREAT! We like that...."
Stuart: "Well, it's growing on me..."
Mark: "It's GREAT!"

Stuart tried, but Mark overruled, as usual.

On the other side what about Stuart not liking the older Rilo Kiley stuff that Mark and a few people on here preferred but instead saying he likes the new stuff more that a few on here think is more commercial.

We could go through all the records and say that Mark likes this more and Stuart doesn't and Stuart likes that more and Mark doesn't.

They are different people, so like different things.

Well, of course they do. My point was that Mark was misrepresenting Stuart's view.

Any difference in taste between the two is welcome. Though Mork obviously wears the trousers in this relationship.

Unless... Mork spaked with forked tongue giving out the official Double One line on whatsherface, but Stuart is there to almost subliminally tell us what they really think. A coded message to the keen of ear.
